A week of haute cuisine and Chilean wine was the proposal of “Chilean Gastronomy Week at Café Atlantico”, an initiative led by the Embassy of Chile in the US and ProChile.
We were invited to participate with two of our outstanding wines, Sauvignon Gris 2009 and Antiguas Reservas Cabernet Sauvignon 2008.
These two wines were inserted into a menu of six times, which was offered to the public for a week, to a value of US$ 70.
After tasting the wines, the experts made the following combinations: Cousino Macul Sauvignon Gris, with a salad of mussels, octopus and ceviche with avocado oil, and Cousiño-Macul Antiguas Reservas Cabernet Sauvignon with Ribeye, Pastel de choclo and cherry tomatoes. |
