IN GOOD COMPANY

Josh Raynold, Wine Writer for Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar, visited our winery in January. During his visit to our historic cellar we offered him a vertical tasting of Antiguas Reservas Cabernet Sauvignon, the tasted vintages were: 1988, 1995, 1997, 2003, 2006 y 2008. He also tasted Sauvignon Gris 2008 and our premium wines: Finis Terrae 2006 and Lota 2005.

We also met the famous American journalist, Jay Miller. In this meeting he tasted 12 vintages of Antiguas Reservas Cabernet Sauvignon, between the years 1968 and 2007. Miller’s opinion: “I recently tasted Antiguas Reservas back to the 1968 vintage and they were splendid!”

Last, but not least, we received Kathy Cannon, Chief of the Wine Business Unit of the LCBO, in our Buins’ Estate. After walking through the vineyards and visiting our hi-tech cellar, she tasted the wines we had specially chosen for her.
